Dr. John Fortuna has been an exemplary doctor, community leader and pioneer for compassionate healthcare in Ohio for over 20 years. Born in 1973 in his beloved hometown of Cleveland, Dr. Fortuna graduated from Cleveland State University and Life University College of Chiropractic.
In 1999, Dr. Fortuna made history by helping legalize chiropractic care in El Salvador during a medical mission trip. When he returned stateside, he quickly established himself as a knowledgeable, trustworthy chiropractor serving communities across Northeast Ohio.
Over his accomplished career, Dr. Fortuna has owned over five thriving chiropractic clinics and rehab centers. He currently operates practices in Cleveland, Elyria and Parma where he specializes in spinal adjustment techniques, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and treatments for whiplash injuries.
Under Dr. Fortuna’s leadership, his clinics have provided exceptional patient outcomes and satisfactory experiences. Dr. Fortuna himself is regarded as a generous, attentive and exceptionally skilled doctor who develops strong rapports with his diverse patient base. His ability to listen deeply and create customized treatment plans sets him apart.
In 2012, Dr. Fortuna expanded the reach of chiropractic medicine when he became Director of Chiropractic at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland. There he works to integrate holistic chiropractic care into conventional hospital settings along with physical therapy and pain management services.
Dr. Fortuna also serves on the boards of several professional chiropractic associations at the state and national level. He is an avid speaker and adviser committed to advancing his field through rigorous science, research and education while preserving compassionate, patient-focused care.
Now in the prime of his career, Dr. Fortuna aims to further his mission of service through establishing The Dr. John Fortuna Foundation to provide scholarships and grants to future healers and physicians. The scholarships honor passionate students who reflect the values embodied by Dr. Fortuna over years of dedication to his community: empathy, integrity, leadership and care centered around the whole patient.
